Are we in the twilight zone?
I know I am not alone in this confusion – what the hell is this year all about? Countdown to 2012 indeed.. is it going to get worse? Bloody hell I hope not. I feel like our entire purpose is being pushed to be defined, that our collective sanity is being challenged to the brink of… not madness… but perhaps nonchalance. I think that is worse. If we stop caring about the bigger picture because we are so caught up in the daily drama’s of survival we may loose sight of our greatness forever.
And this year has provided ample amounts of drama. Everything seems to be leaving; money, order, relationships, businesses, ethics. That’s the global meltdown for you, but it has only come to pass because individually we’re all having our own private (and sometimes not) little meltdowns.
We are stuck on roller-coasters with no seatbelts and no emergency stops. As we scream on the downhill we look at our fellow passengers screaming along with us but we’re holding on so tight we can’t reach out. Then we have a short breather as we make our inexorable way back up the hill BUT we can’t really enjoy it because we know it’s just the build up to the next gut-wrenching plummet.
Thank god I have a sense of humor; I have no direction, no sense of truth, no idea really… but a horrible little inner voice that comments constantly in the background of my mind. Mostly I find it quite amusing but right now if I could find the little bugger I would ring its neck. Some things just shouldn’t be laughed at and I classify this year as one of them.
And there goes my happy-self whispering again… wait… no I lost it.
Shit I hope I didn’t hurt it’s feelings, come back positive thinking. Come back ability to delude myself. Hello…? Bugger
… and to think I used to enjoy ridding those damn things with my hands in the air… tch tch
For me this year is about transforming the planet.
2012 is not the end of the world as in Armageddon but rather and end of an Age or to put in a better way, The Dawning of a New Age of Spiritual Enlightenment.
When times are tough people generally turn to higher powers for help and this is evident in the number of new churches that are popping up as well as a wider acceptance of those of us who work with Energy and the Soul.
So for me the turmoil we find the world in today is nothing more than a catalyst for the spiritual shift that must happen before new energies can be introduced into the physical world.
But does having the higher understanding of this truth help one in the day to day? Of course it does… when you remember to lift your head out of it
